All set for a bumper ski season

Forget global warming and snow lines rising dramatically across the Alps.

Researchers from the University of East Anglia have been predicting that skiing could one day be a sport of the past, but not on the evidence of this season.

Snowfalls throughout Europe and North America have been great throughout December, there are some good offers around, and people are booking their holidays in great numbers. It’s going to be a bumper ski season.

A friend of mine has just come back from Meribel and he said the snow levels were amazing for this time of year.

The white stuff has been falling throughout France, Italy, Switzerland and Austria and many resorts already have enough snow to last into the New Year.
It’s a similar picture throughout North America and Canada. Whistler had a terrible season last year but has already enjoyed some of the best snowfalls on the continent.

Have a look at the great ferry deals on our website and get out on the slopes!
