Q: I’m under 18.  Can I book a ferry online? A: No. The terms and conditions of most carriers stipulate that you must be over 18 years of age to make a booking.

Q: Can children travel unaccompanied by an adult? A: All children under the age of 16 should be accompanied by an adult and others, over 15 but under 18, may need written authority from their parent or guardian if they are travelling without an adult. Please contact the carrier for further advice.

Q: What happens if the carrier cancels my ferry? A: It is very rare for a carrier to cancel a ferry but, if they do, they will offer you a suitable alternative. You are not obliged to accept their offer and you can choose to claim a full refund of your ticket price instead.

Q: Can bookings be cancelled online? A: No. Please call the number on your confirmation email to cancel your booking.

Q: What cancellation charges will apply? A: Normally, 100% of the ticket value will be lost because they are non-refundable. If you have cancellation insurance cover, you may be able to claim back the cost of your ticket depending upon the policy restrictions but an excess fee may be applied. Q: Do I need to bring towels or bedding? A: No. Towels and bedding are usually always provided in all cabins.

Q: Why can’t I find a cabin to book? A: Cabins are not always available on all ferries and you may have chosen sailings that do not offer cabin accommodation. Alternatively, the carrier may have already sold out all their cabins for the sailing you have chosen.
