Hand luggage changes coming
Restrictions on hand luggage on aircraft could be lifted within weeks.
Airlines have been complaining bitterly about the limitations, claiming that they have been a great inconvenience to passengers.
They are also unconvinced that carrying more than one bag poses any great security threat.
It seems the lobbying has worked because sources at British Airways are convinced that the ban will soon be lifted. The government is refusing to comment ahead of any official announcements.
