P&O Irish Sea Ferries P&O Irish Sea Ferries were formed in 1998 following the merger of the Cairnryan based services of P&O European Ferries (Felixstowe Ltd.) and Pandoro Ltd, who operated routes between England, Scotland and France to Ireland.
Seafrance Ferries SeaFrance is the only French-owned cross Channel ferry operator on the Dover to Calais route, offering up to 30 daily tourism crossings on its 4 ferries. The company employs almost 2,000 staff, including 1,300 seagoing personnel, and is the largest employer in the town of Calais.
Speed Ferries SpeedFerries is a low cost ferry operator which started in 2004. It operates one route between Dover in England and Boulogne in France. It currently has only one high-speed ferry, called SpeedOne - a wave-piercing catamaran - which can accommodate up to 200 cars and 800 passengers per sailing.
