More About Norfolk Line

Routes Irish Sea ferries Norfolkline operates three passenger ferry routes across the English Channel and on the Irish Sea: Dover-Dunkerque, Liverpool-Belfast and Liverpool-Dublin. Cross-Channel ferries The new fleet of cross channel ferries take approximately 1h 45m from Dover to Dunkerque. With direct links to the A16 and A25 motorways, the Dover-Dunkerque route is more convenient than Calais for many destinations in France and beyond. Ferries to Ireland Ferries sail from Belfast, Dublin or Liverpool (Birkenhead). Ireland to France Ferry services can be combined to provide an attractive option for travel between Ireland and continental Europe. Many passengers find that travelling via "landbridge" is a quicker and more cost effective option than taking a ferry between France and Ireland. Ferry freight routes In addition to their passenger ferry routes, which can also be booked for freight transport, Norfolkline also operates freight only ferry routes between England and Ireland, England and Holland, and England and Denmark. Facilities Comfortable 4 berth en suite cabins are included in all evening sailing fares on the ferry routes, and additional cabins are available on day sailings. On cross-channel sailings between Dover and Dunkerque there is an option to upgrade to First Class Executive Lounge for £10 per person, each way (£12 per person when purchased on board). This brings extra benefits, such as exclusive seating area, free internet access and complimentary tea, coffee, soft drinks and pastries. The Dover-Dunkerque route has a panorama restaurant offering an extensive range of hot and cold dishes, open 24 hours. The Maersk Delft, Maersk Dover and Maersk- Dunkerque ferries have a "La Veranda Bistro" serving an exclusive range of specially prepared dishes, open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. All the ferries have onboard shopping facilities that stock a wide selection of beers, wines & spirits, confectionary and perfumes, and onboard cinema facilities feature the latest releases. Kids are particularly well looked after on Norfolkline ferries. On the Dover-Dunkerque ferry, the Games Castle is positioned next to a comfortable seating area with a selection of cafes and restaurants, and all the ferries have a purpose built play area for younger children.
