FAQ – Embarkation…

Q: How long does it take to embark?

A: Embarkation times vary from carrier to carrier and from vessel to vessel, although most carriers have improved their efficiency in this area over the past few years as a result of increased competition from the tunnel. After checking in upon arrival at the port you may be required to wait in a queue until your ferry is ready for embarkation. When the ferry is ready, the process is relatively quick but can be affected by the type of vessel, weather conditions, volume of vehicles and the postion of your vehicle on deck.
