Train service to make us proud

The incredible, fully-restored St Pancras International station has opened and (at the time of writing), we have a Eurostar service to be proud of.

I’ve always loved Eurostar and have used it numerous times (and paid for the tickets). Why fly to Paris, when you can sit on the train, relax and arrive in the city centre in no time?

I was initially disappointed about the move to St Pancras. I’m in south London and Waterloo was very convenient for me. But the logic of the move is obvious and, as the journey time will be shaved by up to 25 minutes, it will be worth making the effort to go to St Pancras.

And of course, Europe’s longest champagne bar has got to be tried and tested, all in the name of research, of course.

Have you tried the new service?
