We prefer to holiday with friends

Who is your ideal holiday companion? Your wife, husband, partner, boyfriend or girlfriend?

It might surprise you that we actually prefer going away with our friends.

A survey of 2,000 Brits has found that 66 per cent of adults would rather holiday with pals, often without parents, friends or other family members.

Apparently, it’s all about re-igniting old friendships, not to mention getting away from people we have to live with seven days a week.

But there’s another reason for this trend. With friends, we often do things that we wouldn’t do with our partners: drinking to excess and generally letting our hair down, and visiting music festivals, among other things.

Who do you prefer to holiday with?
